American Quarter Horse Foundation hosts opening of annual America’s Horse in Art show

The American Quarter Horse Foundation hosted the opening night of its 12th annual America’s Horse in Art Show and Sale Saturday evening at the American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame and Museum. Throughout the evening, attendees look at the art, ranging from watercolor paintings to bronze pieces, chosen by a juried panel each year from artists around the world. Pair of escaped zebras in Texas captured but later die, officials say

A tale of an equine escape by a pair of zebras in New Braunfels on Wednesday ended sadly on Thursday when authorities confirmed that both animals had died shortly after their capture. New Braunfels drivers and residents had called 911 Wednesday evening to report a zebra trotting through traffic, under Interstate 35 and on neighborhood streets.
